Unfortunately, standard ground shipments cannot be tracked and therefore cannot be insured. KARAMEL is not responsible for lost or damaged standard surface shipments. Shipment records of all outgoing parcels are catalogued – proof of shipment can be provided upon request. Lost or damaged orders cannot be replaced. SOLD OUT ITEMS The majority of our stock is imported and sourced from smaller, independent companies. Our inventory on each item is very small, and most products are made in limited runs. We do occasionally get restocks but for the most part, especially for lim ed items, once they’re gone, they’re gone. If there is a sold out item in the shop that you simply can’t live without, contact us with the details and we will try our best to track it down for you. Don’t be afraid to ask! SIZING Sizing standards can vary quite a bit from company to company; one label’s XS can turn out to be the same size as another’s M so we have taken on the grotesquely painstaking task of measuring each size of each garment that we carry – bar none. This is in hopes of ensuring that you order the right size and no one wastes time and money sending things back and forth through the mail. Measurements are done on garments laying flat. We measure a garment at two points to determine the width (W) and length (L). W is measured from armpit to armpit or closest point. L is measured from the top of the shoulder panel (where it meets the neck seam) to the bottom hem. Please take an existing garment – one that fits you well – similar to that which you would like to size; lay it flat and measure at these two points to determine which size is right for you. PRIVACY We recognize and respect your privacy. In order to fascilitate safe and accurate transactions KARAMEL does require personal information only when an order is placed. Please be assured that we do not release, sell, share, or exchange our customer information with any outside parties. SECURITY To ensure the safety and security of your private information KARAMEL employs 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. This guarantees that information you provide while placing your order cannot be intercepted. RETURN POLICY We strive to provide clear, accurate, and detailed descriptions of the products on KARAMEL so that you are able to shop with confidence. If you have any questions or concerns regarding an item, please contact us prior to placing an order. Regular priced items are eligible for return within 14 days if they are new, unwashed and unworn, with all original tags and packaging and in proper resellable condition (nobody likes to buy an opened box, worn garment, or one that’s missing things). Items must be sent freight prepaid, pre-approved and marked clearly with a valid RA number or will not be accepted. Please call to receive an RA number. ALL SALE-PRICED ITEMS AND DISCOUNTED ORDERS ARE FINAL SALE. If you receive an item that is damaged or defective please contact us immediately; we will do our best to replace it or process a refund.
