Anke Weckmann grew up in Germany and now lives in London where she works as a freelance illustrator. Drawing is her favourite thing in the world. She also loves black ink, small birds, stripey socks and elderflower cordial. She is a little bit obsessed with acrobats and spies. She also eats a lot of potatoes.
