Purple-black aventurine glass crystal cut pendant. Pendant only.
More commonly known as goldstone, this material is commonly referred to as a semi precious stone but is actually a type of glittering glass. There are many theories as to the origins of aventurine glass. Our favourite is that goldstone was accidentally discovered by alchemists when copper was mixed into molten glass. As the metal melts and its molecular structure is altered, tiny, bright crystals form and become suspended, giving the illusion of stars in an ink night sky.
Aventurine glass is purported to have various metaphysical qualities.
