A very detailed, very tiny mouse pelvis bone was found in the woods of Maine and cast in sterling silver. This memento mori has the instantly identifiable winged, symmetrical shape of all mammalian pelvis bones. This unusual piece is a meditation on the transience of life and the beauty of the natural world. Threaded through the center of the bone is a delicate sterling silver chain. Secures at the back with a c-clasp closure.
