The feature of this necklace is a solid crossword puzzle or Scrabble board that reads “Mon Coeur Toujours Pour Toi” (“My heart always belongs to you.”) This is a reproduction of an antique French charm, which was discovered at a flea market, or “puces”, in Paris, and cast in silver. It’s paired with a tiny brass gear from a machine, most likely a clock. Both hang from a delicate silver box chain. Secures with a c-clasp closure at back. This unusual and surprising juxtaposition of charms will inspire all sorts of guesses as to what the combination signifies.
